For the love of building…

In 1992, after working in other construction related fields, Bob began building houses in the suburban Detroit area.

By 2000, Bob realized his passion for building custom, dream homes on waterfront settings.  So, Bob and his wife moved to Traverse City in northern Michigan where he started Lakeshore Custom Homes.

When you have Lakeshore Custom Homes build your dream home, you will find Bob personally involved on every house.  Bob not only enjoys being involved in the design process of the house, he thinks it is imperative to understand what his customer is thinking and what is important to them.  In addition, Bob is typically on the job site at least once a day to make sure that his customers are getting all that they expect from their dream home.

Bob knows that for his customers, communication is important.  Since many of his customers are out of the area while their house is being built, Bob makes it a point to communicate what is going on with the construction of their new home with frequent phone calls, emails, and postings on Facebook.
