This magnificent home is nestled in the towering pines that surround picturesque Spider Lake.  The exterior of the home features 8” hand hewn cedar log siding and stone veneer that blends perfectly into the natural wooded environment.  The attached garage is a unique 3-car design that features a side door entry for the owner’s tractor.  There is a spacious deck with cedar log railing and metal balusters on the lake side of the home as well as an enclosed hot tub off the garage and a deck off the master suite on the side of the home.

The rear of the home features a covered grilling porch with cedar log posts and truss roof supports.  The main entry is covered by a porch roof supported by large cedar log posts and a cedar log truss that sits on stone pillars.  The main level interior features a spacious living room with a 6” tongue and groove cedar cathedral ceiling,  5” wide hand scraped teak plank flooring, a wood burning fireplace and large windows that extend to the ceiling with a 180 degree view of the lake.

The kitchen features stained maple cabinets with granite counters and snack bar.  The stairway to the upper level of the home has cedar log railing, cast iron balusters and wood treads and risers that lead to a large loft area, office and master suite that has a spectacular view of Spider Lake through the 12 foot wide French door entry.  The lake level of the home includes a bedroom, bath and large family room with a cast iron stove, a kitchenette, and a second laundry.  Construction of this home began in October 2010 and was completed in May 2011.  The owners of the home spent many hours working on each detail of the home with the Lakeshore Custom Home team to insure that the finished home fulfilled their dreams.

This custom lakefront home, like all homes by Lakeshore Custom Homes, combines original design with quality materials, expert workmanship and the experience of a professional team to create an unparalleled home which exceeds the expectations of a discriminating home buyer.

Bob Francis made our dream of a retirement home into something better than we imagined.

From the start, Bob proved to be a comfortable and reassuring partner for our project.
He employed talented people for the many "trades" that are necessary to build a house, and they
did an excellent job.

Bob's calm voice, easy smile, and confidence, set us at ease whenever we had to make one of the
many decisions building our home.  He was on site daily as our project progressed and gave us
frequent updates by phone and e-mail (photos of the building in progress were sent as well).
He was responsible and efficient with our assets and guided us with decisions in our budget
saving us money.

We couldn't be happier with our new home.
We're also happy to have Bob as our builder and friend.
